Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying,
that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Ephesians 4:29

Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
Colossians 4:6

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
James 1:19

A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
Proverbs 15:1
If you are committed to exalt the name of Jesus Christ and the truth of God's Word, then I welcome you to the conversation of the blog.  Comments are welcome (even those that may express some level of disagreement).  I desire to facilitate discussion that will Biblically exhort and spiritually edify.  However, all contributions will be moderated; and certain behavior will not be permitted, such as:
  • Comments that dishonor the Lord our God and Savior.  (Such would include profanity.  Such would also include any attack against the three persons of the triune Godhead, God the Father, God the Son, or God the Holy Spirit.)
  • Comments that deny the truths of God's Holy Word.  (This site is founded upon the principle that God's Word is the absolute authority for our lives.  Unbelievers are welcome to express their comments, but must remember that this is Christian, Bible-believing site.)
  • Comments that disrespect another person.  (Disagreement may be expressed, but must be done graciously and respectfully.)
  • Comments that disregard the burden of this site.  (This burden and purpose is expressed in the Burden page of this site.)
I do look forward to the development of friendships with Biblically founded and faithful friends, wherein we may spiritually sharpen one another's character by our mutual faith.

For the Excellency of the Knowledge of Christ Jesus our Lord,
Abiding in Christ, and Christ in us,
Pastor Scott Markle
