Our Thoughts Matter Much to the Lord

Thought for Meditation

The thoughts (intellectual, emotional, motivational, and decisional) of our inner man
matter much to the Lord our God
and have a significant impact upon our personal, daily walk of fellowship with Him.

Genesis 6:5 
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth,
and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Psalm 10:4 
The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God:
God is not in all his thoughts.

Proverbs 15:26a 
The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD.

Proverbs 24:9
The thought of foolishness is sin.

Isaiah 55:6-7 
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts:
and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him;
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Psalm 139:1-2 
O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.
Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.

Psalm 139:23-24 
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
